About Us

Christ Church is the fourth largest parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester, the largest outside the greater Rochester area and the only Episcopal church in the city of Corning, NY. We have approximately 175 families in our congregation, which attracts parishioners from a 20-mile radius.


Christ Church has a long history with deep traditions. Visitors often remark about the beauty of our church, which is enhanced by its resplendent stained glass windows, intricate mosaic reredos and magnificent Casavant organ.

Today, we are engaged in a search process for our next permanent rector. As we follow this journey, Christ Church continues to enjoy an active church life. In addition to our weekly worship services and Sunday school program, we are involved in various activities that draw us closer to one another and to our community.
