Members of Christ Church volunteer to participate in a number of committees that sustain the life of our parish. Each committee serves an important role in helping us to fulfill our mission of offering hospitality, healing and hope in the name of Jesus Christ. The standing committees include:
Acolytes - opportunity for youth aged 10 and older to serve in the worship service

Altar Guild - assists in the preparation of all worship services

Archives - collects, researches and protects records, documents and valuable artifacts
Audit - reviews and assesses the overall state of financial operations, policies and processes
Bell Choir - presents musical offerings during special worship services and at community events
Buildings & Grounds - promotes responsible stewardship of our physical plant and assets
Adult Choir - presents music during weekly services
Christian Formation - oversees Sunday School and special holiday events
Communications - ensures congregation is regularly informed about the church news, events
Family Choir - provides children and families an opportunity to join together in sharing the gift of music
Finance - provides oversight for the church's financial resources
Home Devotions - coordinates weekly mailings to homebound parishioners
Lay Pastoral Care & Lay Eucharistic Visitors - provides meaningful and caring presence in lives of parishioners
Lay Eucharistic Ministers - serve as lectors and chalice bearers in all worship services

Men's Group - gather monthly for fellowship
Missions - reviews and recommends recipients of funding to support worthy community initiatives
Newcomer Greeters - welcome all parishioners and visitors at the 10:00 service, and follow up with newcomers

Prayer Chain - pray daily for more than 100 people on the Christ Church prayer list
Prayer Shawl Knitters - meet monthly to knit shawls that are blessed and given to people who are ill, experiencing difficult circumstances or are otherwise in need
Seeds of Compassion - responds to specific needs of those living in poverty in our community
Stewardship - oversees the annual campaign for financial and time and talent pledges
Ushers - greet and assist attendees at every worship service
